William Wilkin's sons Ashton & Morrison who farmed near Airdrie are part of Jack Shaw's story. They are first cousins of Mabel, Myrtle, Lewis etc. William moved from Ontario to Manitoba to Saskatchewan to Alberta and retired in BC. Some of the other Wilkin siblings (or their children) used to visit Hannah Shaw 1864-1945 in Calgary.
