Wiliam was born in 1798, Sligo. Died 1878, North Gower. William was a pathmaster, in charge of men responsible for repairing roads in the area. William's parents were: Thomas Ferguson Pettypiece (note: name change in spelling) 1765-1831, and Donuta Skuczas (around 1768-around 1831). Thomas's parents were: Henri Richard Petitpierre (note name change again in spelling) 1716, France - 1808, Sligo and Paule Anastase Petitpierre.
