  Hugh's wife Sarah died at age 40 in 1864. He then married Eleanor Williams who was working as a governess in Guelph and was also from Ireland. They had 1 child, girl, Eliza. Eleanor lists parents as James Williams and Eleanor Golden in Marriage Register; witnesses were Mr & Mrs George Allan of Rothsay. In 1875, Little Hughie built the present house of brick, the first on the line -------------------------------------------- ?? I found a baptism record for Eleanor Williams 1 Apr 1832 in Riverstown, but it is RC and the father is listed as Nicholas Willams, mother Bridget O'Neil. Also one for Eliza Williams 6 Jul 1829 - same parents & parish. ---------------------------------------------
