It was passed to his sons, John Ernest & Alfred, and then passed to John Ernest's son, Harry. It was recognized as a Century Farm in 1967. In 1981, Nora (Allen) Allan/Jeffrey and her daughter, Joy visited the farm and met Harry and his wife.

  From Ancestry- Harry was a member of the Mount Forest United Church and of the 1932 Tug-of-War team for Arthur Twp. Harry was also a bridge builder for several years before returning to farming with a barn raising and building moving business. He died as a result of a sudden stroke.
