  Info from Ancestry (edited): Margaret Ann Skinner was born in Inverurie, Scotland. She immigrated to Canada with her parents Alexander Skinner and Margaret Frasier Skinner. She married Allen (Alan?) MacPhadyen in Canada but by the 1901 Census shows her living with her mother and father (still listed as married). Allen is not listed. She moved to the US in 1915 and was part of the 1920 US Census in NY City (probably came to the US with Helen MacPhadyen and Percy Jones, who immigrated the same year). The Census indicates that she was a widow in 1920. The photos that Margaret wrote on regarding her father Alexander, support that she was in NY at the time. She married John Henry Diers in 1924 in Idaho. He died in 1828 in Peel, Ontario, Canada per a death record found and attached to this tree. Therefore, she had moved back to Canada by 1928. Her father, Alexander Skinner, resided at 18 Colborne St., Lindsay, Ontario, Canada when he died. No record of her death can be found to date
