Notes - From em from Colleen Goldstein cfgmeeps@gmail.com 10 Jan 2018 - she is a descendant of Agnes -
"A story that made me chuckle about Agnes' sister Jane McElroy. I found this is the Dufferin Co Archives. When Jane traveled to Ontario with Hugh & Agnes and their children, she intended to return to Ireland. To that purpose she sewed enough gold coins into her petticoat for the return voyage. I can visualize her sitting sewing the coins into her petticoat. The voyage from Ireland to Ontario was apparently so stormy that Jane was violently ill. She decided she would never travel back to Ireland because she was so seasick on the first voyage. So she stayed and married Robert Armstrong in 1847."
