Notes - I was born on the 30th of January 1950 in Surrey England to a Violet Margaret Kathleen Morrison. I know that I was given up for adoption and she returned to Ireland at some stage.I contacted her in 1989 and we spoke on the phone, she seemed a bit alarmed that I had got in touch with her and told me not to try and trace my father because he had died. We have spoken maybe four times by phone since then, the last time was in 2007 and I have not heard from her since then. I don't wish to hurt anyone by revealing this story but I have kept quiet for over 30 years. My daughter signed me up to Ancestry DNA because she would also like to know her biological family history to pass on to my grandchildren. I have just received an email from a lady called Lilyione.I think she may be the one you mentioned and I will reply to her soon. Sorry I took so long to reply but I have found the realisation that I do have a family out there quite overwhelming. I hope that together with all of you I may be able to fill in some of the gaps. Hoping to hear from you again,from your 3rd cousin
